Fostering

The Tuscarawas County Humane Society rarely provides fostering services. We try to find the animals their forever home and prevent animals having to decompress multiple times – this is for their mental health. On specific occasions the Shelter Director will search for a foster home for an animal whether it is fostering mother and litter of kittens, a long termer, or an animal that truly needs out of the shelter environment for behavioral reasons.
