About Cause for Paws
The Tuscarawas County Humane Society is proud to announce that its annual Cause for Paws fundraising event will be held on April 27th, 2024, at the Breitenbach Tool Shed in Dover. This will be the sixteenth year that our incredible committee will be planning and conducting our largest fundraising event of the year.
As a non-profit organization, the Tuscarawas County Humane Society receives no operational funding from county, state, or federal entities. We rely solely on grants, and generous donations from the community, businesses, and caring people like yourselves to continue our mission. This event is the chief source of income for the year that helps us meet the ever-increasing needs of the animals in our county.
Your donation, large or small, helps us continue to save the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals within our community.

Cause for Paws is the Humane Society's chief source of income for the year and helps to enable our staff and volunteers to meet the ever-increasing needs of the facility. TCHS receives no operational funding from the county, state or national entities, which makes our local fundraising efforts even more important.
About Sponsorships
Sponsorships are a huge part of a successful fundraiser. Each year our community never ceases to amaze us in their generosity and continued support. Sponsorships range from $500 – $5000. Auction Donations
We are in need of donations for this event which will be accepted until April 9, 2023. Any and all donations can be dropped off at the shelter in person or mailed to TCHS at 1432 Tall Timber Road NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663. Donations can include large ticket items to be used in the live auction, gift baskets, gift cards, overnight stays, sporting events, alcohol and even lottery tickets. No donation is ever too large or small.
